Our Story

A lot has changed since we sold our first bra in 2005, but our passion and playfulness still remains at the heart of everything we do. Starting from humble beginnings in a small office above a shop in Macclesfield to selling a bra every 30 seconds, Pour Moi has expanded rapidly over the past 16 years and we have loved every step of the way! 

We believe that no one should have to overpay for good-fitting lingerie, no matter their size. It’s the Pour Moi way to ensure that our customers feel confident and sexy in their own skin. With an uplifting personality weaved into every garment, we’ll take care of the fashion, all that’s left to do is for you to feel fabulous! 

Now boasting over 100 truly amazing women and men, our range has grown along with us to include clothing, sportswear, nightwear and hosiery. We are so much more than just a lingerie shop. With exciting new developments planned we can’t wait to see what the future holds, and we want you to join us on this amazing ride!

We may not take life too seriously, but we know we’re stronger together. Friends don’t let friends feel anything less than fabulous, so we’re building a community of like-minded women to pick each other up, dust each other off and cheer each other on.

The Story So Far, 2005:

Starting from humble beginnings, Pour Moi started in a tiny office above a shop in Macclesfield, packed with materials, cardboard boxes, two staff members and one belief - that people shouldn’t have to overpay for good-fitting lingerie, no matter what their size. 

Our Story - Chester Store

2006

We launched our first retail store and moved into the concessions with Figleaves & Littlewoods 

2007

Old Pour Moi swimwear

We wanted to give our customers something that other brands weren’t offering so we launched swimwear 

2009

Pour Moi full cup swimwear

The swimwear line was a hit straight away and Pour Moi became the first full cup swimwear brand to be sold on ASOS 

2014

We launched in the US with partner Bare Necessities and became their number two swimwear brand within a year. Not bad going for a little company from Macclesfield! 

2015

We launched on Next.co.uk, further building the brand and raising brand awareness.

2017

Our Story - Brighton

More than a decade on from selling our first bra, Pour Moi moved to sunny Brighton while keeping its warehouse in Macclesfield. We reached a new level of growth with the launch of our sportswear line. 

2019

To complement the growth of the business we acquired the Long Eaton site in January 2019. Welcoming another warehouse and team to the Pour Moi family.

2020

Our Story

It’s a new decade and with that comes a new launch, Pour Moi clothing! We launched our first collab with Pour Moi babe India Reynolds, and what a success it was!

2021

Our Story

Continuing our international expansion, we then launched a US website. 

We launched our annual Wiggle campaign at the start of 2021. Aimed at getting women moving in a way that feels good to them all whilst raising money for charity! In the same year we also launched the Pink Edit, a specially curated edit, aimed at raising much-needed funds and awareness of breast cancer.

It was time for another celeb edit! Que TV personality, presenter and author Vicky Pattison. Sharing her favourite picks to fit, flatter and help you unleash your inner confidence.

Towards the end of the year, we also moved into our new HQ in Brighton!

2022

Pour Moi uplifting women awards

At the start of 2022, we launched the Pour Moi Uplifting Women Awards to recognise inspirational and fabulous women that are making an impact across their community and around the world. Check out our finalists here!

Womenswear Brand of the Year - Drapers 2022

We dusted off our stylish suits and glamorous dresses to attend the glittering 2022 Drapers Awards in London. Ready for an evening of celebration we were honoured to have been announced as Womenswear Brand of the Year. As a business with its customers' needs at the core of everything we do, it’s a privilege to be acknowledged in such a way. Here's to 2025 and many more awards to be won!
