A lot has changed since we sold our very first bra back in 2005, but our passion and playful spirit are still stitched into everything we do. From humble beginnings in a tiny office above a shop in Macclesfield to selling a bra every 30 seconds, it’s been an incredible 20-year journey—and we’ve loved every moment of it.

Fast forward to today, our range has grown right along with us, now featuring clothing, sportswear, nightwear, and hosiery. We’re so much more than just a lingerie brand. And with exciting new adventures on the horizon, we can’t wait to see what’s next.

Our journey began in 2005
Pour Moi began with humble roots in a small office above a shop in Macclesfield, packed with materials, cardboard boxes, just two team members, and one big belief: people shouldn’t have to overpay for good-fitting lingerie, no matter their shape or size.
We launched our first retail store and moved into the concessions with Figleaves & Littlewoods
We wanted to give our customers something that other brands weren’t offering, so we dived in and launched our very own swimwear range.
The swimwear line was a hit straight away and Pour Moi proudly became the first full-cup swimwear brand to be sold on ASOS.
We launched in the US with partner Bare Necessities and became their 2nd swimwear brand within a year. Not bad going for a little company from Macclesfield.
We launched on Next.co.uk, further building the brand and raising brand awareness.
More than a decade on from selling our first bra, Pour Moi moved to sunny Brighton while keeping its warehouse in Macclesfield. We reached a new level of growth with the launch of our sportswear line.
To complement the growth of the business, we acquired the Long Eaton site in January 2019. Welcoming another warehouse and team to the Pour Moi family.
It’s a new decade and with that comes a new launch, Pour Moi clothing! Also, we launched our first collaboration with India Reynolds, and what a success it was!
Continuing our international expansion, we then launched a US website.
Plus, we launched our annual Wiggle campaign at the start of 2021 raising £50,000. Aimed at getting women moving in a way that feels good to them all whilst raising money for charity. In the same year, we also launched the Pink Edit, a specially curated edit aimed at raising much-needed funds and awareness for breast cancer.
It was time for another celeb edit! Que TV personality, presenter, and author Vicky Pattison. Sharing her favourite picks to fit, flatter, and help you unleash your inner confidence.
Towards the end of the year, we also moved into our new HQ in Brighton!
At the start of 2022, we launched the Pour Moi Uplifting Women Awards to recognise inspirational women that are making an impact across their community and around the world.
We dusted off our stylish suits and glamorous dresses to attend the glittering 2022 Drapers Awards in London. Ready for an evening of celebration, we were honoured to have been announced as Womenswear Brand of the Year. As a business with its customers' needs at the core of everything we do, it’s a privilege to be acknowledged in such a way. Here's to the coming years and many more awards to be won!
In 2023 we spiced up our collection with the iconic Spice Girl Mel B and her daughter Pheonix for our Own Your Confidence campaign. In true Pour Moi style, our aim was to show how the power of wearing comfortable, luxurious and perfectly fitting lingerie, clothing, nightwear and sportswear can impact your day in the best way.
We also launched our lingerie and swimwear collections online at Marks & Spencer, bringing even more of our designs to one of the UK’s most iconic retailers. It’s an exciting step forward, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
Following the success of our Own Your Confidence campaign, we partnered with fashion icon and TV presenter Gok Wan. As a pioneer in inspiring women to embrace their confidence, Gok says “It’s always been incredibly important to me to help women find their confidence, self-esteem and to get their foundations right. When I was approached by Pour Moi, I didn’t have to think twice – I loved that our values aligned. The mission of this campaign is the same as the one I’ve dedicated my career to so I’m excited to help women feel fabulous, discover their perfect fit, and to embrace their body confidence.”
Later in the year, we hit another milestone with a store opening in Leeds! With two existing stores in Chester, close to our roots in Macclesfield, Leeds became the second location we chose to open a standalone store.
Not only did we continue our collaboration with Gok Wan this year, we also opened our next store in Kingston upon Thames. As our fourth store opening, it offers a selection of our lingerie and swimwear collections, along with best-sellers from our nightwear, sportswear, and clothing ranges.
To round off another successful year, we celebrated another major milestone by launching online at John Lewis, one of the UK’s most beloved retailers. This exciting partnership not only expands our reach to an even wider audience but also sets the stage for our highly anticipated in-store debut at John Lewis locations nationwide.
